2/23/2011 Faux Pressed Flowers w/ Magnifique Butterfly

Hope you're not tired of faux pressed flowers! This is what we did in my last card class.
There is an awesome tutorial at:
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/fauxpressedflowers/

All products used are copyrighted by CTMH unless otherwise noted.
Stamp sets:One of a Kind
Cardstock: White Daisy, Cocoa
Paper: Magnifique & Sweetheart Level 2 paper packets
Inks: New England Ivy ink pad and Cotton Candy re-inker
White Daisy Variety Pack, White Daisy grosgrain ribbon, button brads
Opaque adhesive gems: Pearl or Mocha
Cuttlebug: embossing folder Mandarin Screen, Nestabilities sm Circles
MS lg Monarch Butterfly punch

Butterfly is punched from Magnifique paper and glued onto white daisy cs, then cut out with scissors.

The flower is colored by putting rubbing alcohol in a spray pen and a few drops of Cotton Candy re-inker, mix and spray onto paper flower and let dry. I use rubbing alcohol because it dries faster than water!
