You're a Hoot - Double Cuttlebug

Way too fun technique. Used sponge daubers and direct to paper (on dots only) to apply ink to embossed cs. Use a circular motion for applying ink with daubers after each cuttlebugging. Is that a word? lol.

CS: Colonial white, cocoa
Inks: Olive, brown bag, cocoa
Markers: Sunflower, goldrush, topiary or olive, cocoa, chocolate, desert sand, bamboo, black

Happy Un-Birthday - Double Cuttlebug

For Girls Camp we needed an invitation for leaders, Our theme is Alice in Wonderland.
Here is what I came up with.
All products are CTMH unless otherwise noted.
Stamp set: (Retired) Kitchen Collectables, A Birthday Wish, Happy Birthday,
(retired)Lots O' Dots Border
Cardstock: Daisy white, cranberry, black
Inks: Holiday red, cranberry, black
Cuttlebug swiss dots and happy birthday embossing folders.
Use the lighter ink first, direct to paper (dots)and cranberry direct to paper (happy birthday). Second cuttlebugging needs to be done several times before removng from foldr.

Butterflies - Heavenly Holes

I think this technique is fairly self explanitory. The resource I used for this is http://techniquejunkies.com/ where I am a subscriber. Pat has a great newsletter with new techniques every other month.
All products used are Close to My Heart inless otherwise noted.
Stamp sets: Whimsical Wings or Celebrate Life, Playful Flourishes or Blooming Flourishes.
Cardstock: Dutch blue, daisy white, tulip and Creative Basics Animal Cookies Collection.
Paper piercer, exchangeable head/hole punch and 1/8th long reach hole punch.

Big Pinks and Waxy Resist

Cardstock: (Retired) Glossy, black, daisy white and baby pink.
Inks: Olive
Just Blooms Big Pinks paper flowers, white grosgrain ribbon, bigger brads.
Cuttlebug embossing folders, waxpaper, brayer and small flower punch.

Wax Resist - You're a Hoot


All products are CTMH unless otherwise noted.
You need some waxpaper and glossy cardstock to do these.
Stamp set: You're a Hoot.
Cardstock: (retired) glossy cs, daisy white, chocolate and olive.
Inks: Olive, black, chocolate. Markers:Ponderosa pine or topiary, sunflower, goldrush. Chocolate ribbon. Cuttlebug embossing folders. Brayer.
Cut two pieces of glossy cs to size and one piece of waxpaper. Stamp image on gloss cs if desired. Cuttlebug the waxpaper or crumple it, place between cs and iron with a hot iron. Brayer ink over cs. If youstamped an image that you want add color to, then use bleach with a waterbrush or q-tip and remove brayered ink, let dry and color with markers. Thanks for looking.

World's Best Dad

Father's Day Card. This card is inspired and copied from fellow CTMH sister Sue Luther.
I changed the papers used and made the card a swinger card. The basket swings back and forth.
